Schmitt Capital had a number of interests spread across the globe. However, they did not have an IT solution partner for end to end functions. Hence, IT services were being managed by different entities and coordination between them was difficult. As a result, the IT solutions offered were disjointed.
A lack of control over the IT system and data made it difficult for the company to track investments and give investors real-time project updates. This affected the brand’s image and made it difficult to bring about transparency in its management of finances.
Dependency on manual records made it difficult for Schmitt Capital to track timesheets and the real-time geographical location of their project executives. This, in turn, made it harder to track information flow and affected their ability to make data-driven decisions for the company’s future.
The use of outdated data management techniques made historical information hard to access and update. Data from different projects were saved in independent silos which made it difficult to draw co-relations and keep historical data up to date.

Bynry implemented cloud based advanced iOS and a back-office application. This improved data management, updating capabilities and increased processing speeds. It also met the company’s need for scalability.
A collaborative platform was designed and developed in a way so as to be accessible by project executives and investors. The new platform improved communication flow and helped all stakeholders collaborate in real-time.
Bynry introduced a form of automated reporting to give Schmitt Capital control over its database employee timesheets. With GPS tags, these automated reports made it easier to track employee progress. They also made it easier to calculate and track payments.
